Life Reflections

I don’t know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day.  I don’t borrow from its sunshine, for its skies may turn to gray. I don’t worry over the future, for I know what Jesus said. And today I’ll walk beside him, for he know what is ahead. Many things about tomorrow, I don’t understand; but I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand.

Mr. Allen Sylvester Peterson, better know as “Peter Pan,” a devoted Father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend departed this earthly life on Thursday, January 25, 2024.  He was born in Florence County on May 21, 1962, the son of the late Maybell Peterson and KC Hutson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his paternal grandparents Mrs. Lillie May and Mr. Elijah Briggs Peterson.

At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ. He was an affectionate person who loved his children and especially his grandchildren, family and friends. He attended Florence public school.

Those who shared the joys of life with him and to cherish his memory are his children: Mr. Allen Shante’ Daniels, of Florence SC; Ms. Shandra Renette Daniels, and Mrs. Chasity (Nicholas) Hunter of Florence,SC; four grandchildren: Carter Johnson, Daleon James, Jona’ Timmons, Nikailah Hunter, of Florence, SC; one great grand Raelyn James; two sister: Ms. Joan Peterson and Lora (Isaac) Gibson; two brother: Mr. Morris Lynn (Yolanda) Peterson, Mr. Michael Peterson of Florence, SC.; two Aunts: Mrs. Evelyn Scott-Davis of Philadelphia, PA, and Mrs. Elease Williams, of Florence, SC.; a special cousin/caregiver Mrs. Phyllis (Russell) Greene; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
